It was a pleasure meeting this family this past June. They wanted to have the photo session somewhere nearby during the morning so I suggested a few parks, however they really wanted the lake as background and even though I recommend lake photo sessions closer to sunset, my priority is always the family’s request. We decided to try the lake in the morning and if it was too hot and sunny, we could just walk to Kew Gardens, a really cute park near Beaches.

And I’m so glad we went for the lake because the photos came out amazing! We also walked to Kew Gardens as it was so nearby to change the mood a bit and get some shade. :)
