Lia and Jeremy don’t live in Canada anymore – they are getting married in Australia, however they decided to come back to Toronto to celebrate their marriage with close friends and families, since some of them won’t be able to travel. They decided to throw an intimate celebration at Terroni, a very cool and elegant restaurant in Toronto. Because they were living abroad and would only come for this event, I only got to meet them on the day of their wedding! Loved meeting these two and working with them. It was only a few days away from Christmas and it was freezing cold! Lia was so brave to come outside for photos. Lia and Jeremy, congrats! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! ❤

This winter has been as busy as summer! I still have lots of family shoots and weddings I want to post (not really sure if I’ll be able to post them this year still), but it’s been too long without posting a Bar Mitzvah. This is Matthew’s Bar Mitzvah – I shot his sister’s Bat Mitzvah over three years ago (if you click on Previous Page long enough, you might be able to find it!) so I was really happy when his mom contacted me again. I shot Owen’s Bar Mitzvah beginning of the year. I had this blog post as a draft since this past summer and I completely forgot to post it with all the weddings and family photo shoots going on. I’m still pretty busy – currently editing 2 family photo shoots and 1 wedding, but I’m posting this before it’s too late. You’ll notice that the layout from this post is even different from how I’m currently posting my shoots. I usually don’t post lots of non-wedding events, so I decided not to leave this post as draft so people can find me if they search for Bar Mitzvahs. When I have the time, I will also make a post about some birthday parties and other special events I shot this year. So yeah, Yuki Noda Photography also shoots Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthday parties, baptisms, etc. :) And although I wanted to post some of the weddings from the images I’ve been posting on my Facebook Fan Page, I REALLY can’t seem to find the time (posting weddings in here is a ton of work!). :(

As I promised, here it goes another post that has nothing to do with weddings/couples. Alexander’s baptism was a couple of months ago and I’m really happy with the results – the light coming in the church during the immersion was gorgeous and Alexander’s parents could not have picked a better location for the reception! That restaurant was just beautiful and the decoration was sooo cute!! They really put a lot of thought into every detail. The cake was one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen as well. The cake lady will definitely be doing my daughter’s birthday cake next year. ;)

After dinner was served, the presentations started.

















They opened the dance floor and everybody joined. It was time for me to leave, but the best is yet to come – their wedding!

Last month I had the opportunity to shoot this very important time on Hannah’s life: her Bat Mitzvah. The pictures turned out great. Let me share some of them with you. First part was at the synagogue, beautiful place by the way.







Second part is the party! Before it began, we shot some amazing portraits.









Then the party started!! Practically everybody was at the dance floor!











It all ended with an ice cream truck! YUMMY!!

Some days ago I went to Dennis & Cinzia’s engagement party. It was a small party, just some close friends and family were invited. His sister and Cinzia decorated the whole house for that day. They really put a lot of effort in the decoration and it looked amazing! Before the guests arrived, we decided to take some pictures outside the house. Unfortunately it was a rainy and cloudy day, but we could get some nice images out of it. :) Once the guests and the priest arrived, the ceremony began. It was like a mini-wedding, they even exchanged rings. One thing that I like about my work is that I get to see how things work in lots of different cultures. I usually don’t post events/parties in here that are not wedding-related, but since this one was for a good cause, I decided to post some images of the night. Last week I went to this event called Give a Night at the This is London nightclub. It was a cocktail party and silent auction in the fight against HIV. Here are some pictures of the night.
