I already know I will have a great time at Christine’s and Paul’s wedding next year. It was really fun shooting these two and that’s how engagement sessions should be! Sometimes couples take themselves too seriously, but the secret to a great e-shoot is laughter – so thank you, Paul. :)

Paul is also responsible for me finally ordering USB Flash Drives for wedding clients. LOL I’ve been studying getting those during the past year and I’d always forget about it. But during our meeting, Paul made fun of me still giving DVDs to people and I thought that maybe it was time to upgrade my media. Hopefully by next year all photo shoots will be getting USB Flash Drives instead of DVDs – honestly I think my DVDs are super cute, but I know that their end is near.

I really really shouldn’t be using my time to blog since I have so many photos shoots lined up to be edited, but I needed to post this (I promise my next blog post will be a family photo shoot, I promise!!!). Let me share some of my favorites with you! :)

I live about ten, fifteen minutes away from Parkwood Estate and always heard great things about that location, however I’ve never had the chance to check it out until last year when I shot Amy and Matt’s wedding (click here to view it). To my surprise, another couple decided to use the same spot for their engagement session this past May and I was super excited to work there once again, without all the rush of a wedding day.

And what can I say about these two? This is one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met! They have an amazing life story and I’m so lucky to have had our paths crossed. I already shot their wedding a couple of weeks ago at the Doctor’s House and had, once again, an amazing time. I’ll truly miss them! ♥

Let me share some of the greatest moments from the engagement session with you. Definitely, my favorite one is when H. surprised N. with an engagement ring!! He also brought her family to share this special day with them and I loved all the reactions from N. when seeing all her family there, however I decided to keep those photos private. Enjoy!

I know I always promise I’ll keep this blog updated, but I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be able to do that for a while – at least while I’m working every single weekend and have a 4 year daughter wanting to enjoy the warm weather outside. So for now, my aim is to get all my clients photo sessions ready on time and have at least one blog post per month – this engagement shoot was the chosen one for this May! I honestly could not leave this super-cute-very-good-looking couple out of my blog. :)

This is Christie and Dan’s engagement session from this past weekend. We started at a park close to their cottage and finished the shoot with some great sunshine by the lake. My favorite part from the shoot is actually where they first met: the tennis court! ♥

This shoot is from yesterday – yes! Yesterday. I haven’t even finished editing all of Anna’s and Ashwin’s engagement session, but since they are getting married this weekend, I edited a few of the photos so they have time to use them.

I’ll keep this short since this will be a busy busy week for me – besides working on their engagement photos, just this weekend I have their wedding, a family photo session and a birthday party to shoot. Think I will rest on Monday? I’ve got another shoot and a meeting. Yeap, the year has definitely started. Everytime I get to a photo shoot I can’t help but think how lucky I am do this for a living. :)

It was STILL freezing yesterday, but Anna and Ashwin were brave enough to handle the cold temperatures. I’m honestly in love with these so I decided to take a break from the editing to post a few of my favorites!

[update 03/29] p.s.: go check it out their wedding photo taken yesterday: http://www.facebook.com/YukiNodaPhotography. :)

This was my second photo shoot of 2015 – even though I have lots of photoshoots from last year I have yet to post, I needed to publish this right away because of the response I got from these few photos I posted on my FB page.

I finished editing their images really late at night sometime last January and e-mail Adrienne saying her photos are ready. I decide to post a few on my FB page before going to bed. 7am the next day, my daughter wakes up, I give her breakfast and decide to check my computer. I had so many private messages from my friends saying they loved the photos I just posted and how good-looking the couple were (honestly, that never happens – my friends are really used to me spamming them with my work, so I was surprised lol). Then, I check the photo on FB and it already has over 20 likes – and it’s 7am in the morning!

So yeah, I HAD to post this right away. These are some of my favorites from the day! :)

How I love working close to home! Not only because I don’t have to be stuck in traffic, but also because I just love Whitby. This place is so beautiful I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of having shoots here.

This is Laura’s and Ray’s engagement session. Besides the fact these two are super photogenic, they have an amazing chemistry that definitely shows in pictures. So it’s pretty obvious that I just can’t wait for their wedding day next Summer!

On top of having lots of September+October wedding photos to edit, these past few days have been super busy with all these families having Fall shoots (can’t blame them, Fall looks good), so I’ll go back to editing now. I just had to stop for a bit to share this gorgeous e-shoot. :)

I remember when Aileen first called me wanting to book an engagement session. She didn’t have a date for her wedding yet. I remember meeting her and Brandon at a Starbucks and at that time I had no idea that I would love working with them so much.

We had the E-Session and I can recall talking to my husband while I was editing their images. “I really really REALLY want to shoot their wedding. Look at those photos, they are perfect!! Hope I’m not booked when she picks her wedding date!”, and it wasn’t because they were good looking, but it was because they had so much chemistry in front of the camera.

Some months passed and Aileen e-mailed me to book her wedding day. I was literally jumping up and down.

This happened 2 and a half years ago. Since then, I lost count on how many people contacted me because of them. I also have to thank their relatives (especially Brandon’s mom!) for talking about my work! Really can’t thank them enough.

This current photo session was supposed to happen last Fall, to celebrate Aileen and Brandon’s 1st wedding anniversary. Weather wasn’t that great last year – we never really got a decent Fall and we ended up postponing the shoot to Spring. So in the end, we’re really celebrating two years of marriage. :)

We decided to stay around Whitby – starting at Cullen Central Park, then going for some quick photos “downtown” Whitby and ending the shoot by the lake. Light was just perfect! Love love these. Amazing how two years have passed and they are still so good at PDA. Wish I could take pictures of them every single year!

I think it’s pretty obvious that I loved working with Erika and Chris. So instead of sitting here and just going about how good-looking they were, that I can’t wait for their big day and blah blah blah, I will just say I want to move to Alliston!! We went to Earl Rowe Provincial Park and ended the shoot “downtown”. What a charming little place! :)

We had to reschedule this shoot 3 or 4 times because weather is just not helping at all this year. First it was freaking cold, then it was too cold still, then it rained, and on the 4th time we just decided to go ahead with it even though the day was super cloudy and calling for a bit of rain.

The day was pretty gray when I got there – that really didn’t matter because the location was gorgeous. But during the final minutes of our shoot (which you’re seeing first here), the sun decided to show up. Perfect ending to a great photo session. ♥

This Distillery District + Cherry Beach combo for E-Sessions is getting pretty popular among couples. It’s not that long that I blogged a shoot at these exact same locations.

I always find amazing how it doesn’t matter how many times I go to these places, I never get the same results. That’s the magic of us human beings – we’re all so unique!

Had an amazing time shooting Ashley and Rodrigo a few weeks ago. Let me share a few of my favorites with you. :)

I really shouldn’t be stopping to post a photo shoot since I’m drowning in photos to edit right now. However I’m completely in love with this session and I had to post it right away!

I’m pretty sure these two don’t even know how photogenic they are and how great their chemistry is in front of the camera. Besides that, they are really fun to be around. Can’t wait for their wedding next month!

I’ll be honest: before this shoot, I hated High Park. I hate how crowded and huge that park is. Always thought it was an overrated park and whenever I could, I convinced families/couples to go to Edward Gardens or somewhere smaller. I was just excited with Melanie+Jeff’s suggestion because initially we were thinking about having the shoot during the blooming of the cherry trees (which we missed it, unfortunately). Anyways… going there on a weekday is a completely different story. It is indeed a beautiful park to go to.

Let me share some of my favorite photos with you! :)
