This is one of the most interesting stories behind a family photo shoot. Olivia’s parents wanted to capture some nice moments to remember before going on an one year trip through the Pan-American highway.

This shoot is from a couple of months ago and they’re already in their camper driving through the greatest sceneries! They actually have a blog and you can checkout their adventures on this link.

Good luck, guys! Hope you have the time of your life in this amazing trip!

Another great family shoot from a couple of weeks ago. Again, we got really lucky with an amazing summer day – one of the very few we had this year.

I never had a client so worried about what to wear – I lost count of the number of e-mails we exchanged discussing outfits. In the end all the hard work that this mom had thinking of combination of colors, etc. paid off… the family looks beautiful!

This year I’ve been thinking of not shooting families anymore since I’m getting really exhausted shooting weddings almost every weekend, dealing with a two year old, editing photos till 3AM in the morning, and taking family shoots on weekdays, but it’s hard to say no to families wanting their pictures taken after we see these results.

I had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful family a couple of months ago. Jenn got a gift certificate from a friend and called me as soon as baby Adelaide was born. She was nearly a week old when we had the shoot – such a cute baby girl.

Between feedings and putting baby furniture together (yes, that rocking chair you see below was assembled during our shoot!), we got some amazing shots. Let me share my favorites with you. :)

p.s.: If you didn’t know this yet, I do offer Gift Certificates and you’re able to purchase them online! That’s a great gift idea for baby showers. Just click on GIFT CERTIFICATES on the menu above.

Patricia’s maternity pictures were posted some months ago and now I have the pleasure to introduce you to baby Julia. One of the cutest baby girls I’ve ever seen, that little one looks just like a doll.

I’ve been doing plenty of baby pictures during this winter and it’s funny how parents usually expect their baby to behave and cooperate during the photo session. Reality is, most of them don’t! Of course if you’re just looking at my portfolio and not actually having your pictures taken, you’ll think that all babies featured in here look so calm and peaceful. Want to know the truth? Babies cry – sometimes A LOT. And that’s normal – that’s what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes we have to stop the photo session and just wait for them to calm down (usually feeding works wonders).

Although that was not the case for Julia – that baby loved my camera, you can see she was pretty much looking all the time at me!, I’m writing this because every now and then I get parents saying they feel bad for me and they would never imagine their baby would be so much work. Parents, I’m used to it! Don’t feel bad about it. Especially now that I have a toddler and know exactly how it is. I never rush Baby Photo Shoots – if you need to feed/change/calm down the baby, I’ll wait. If we need to just have the shoot another day, that’s fine! Babies are one of my favorites subjects to work with, just because there’s so much love in the pictures. And this shoot is a great example of it. :)

If I could define last November in one word, it’d be exhausting. It’s interesting because with the cold weather, things usually start to slow down, but it was just crazy. I had Dylan and Jaden’s portraits in one morning, then I was off to Toronto to shoot baby Amanda and, on the next day, I had Reinaldo and Giseli’s wedding that has yet to be posted on my blog (but you can check some of their images in my FB page). Oh, I forgot to mention that, on the same week, I did over 20 headshots for companies and real state agents. I’m denitely NOT complaining about the amount of work, but you have to agree that it was truly tiring, especially when you add a toddler running around the house and still waking up during the night!

But back to this photo shoot – I had a really great morning with these boys. Dylan and Jaden were just adorable – their parents are doing a wonderful job raising these two. After a super busy week, I was so lucky to get amazing kids to work with. Please enjoy their images. :)

Hope everybody had an awesome holiday season! 2013 is here and I still have lots of photo shoots from 2012 that I want to post. This one is from last November – you might remember Claudia and Robinson if you come here often. Their maternity photo shoot was featured in here not too long ago.

Let me introduce their newest addition to the family: baby Amanda. Believe or not, she was only two weeks old – definitely one of the cutest newborns I’ve ever seen! Claudia and Robinson, congrats, may Amanda fill your hearts with joy! :)

This photo shoot is to show you don’t need to wait till Spring/Summer to get your pictures taken – even if you are not a fan of the cold weather!

This past summer I shot baby Alice’s first birthday – Mari and Leo liked my work so much that they decided to book another photo shoot. They didn’t want pictures on a park or in the city, but in their bedroom! I loved the idea – different from everything else I’ve done and it truly feels cozy and intimate.

This first part I’m focusing on the couple and giving you some sneak peeks of the family shoot. Stay tuned for part II, where I’ll focus on their lovely girls – Helena and Alice.

And well, do I even need to say they are already planning another photo shoot? ;)

I shot Owen’s Bar Mitzvah beginning of the year. I had this blog post as a draft since this past summer and I completely forgot to post it with all the weddings and family photo shoots going on. I’m still pretty busy – currently editing 2 family photo shoots and 1 wedding, but I’m posting this before it’s too late. You’ll notice that the layout from this post is even different from how I’m currently posting my shoots.

I usually don’t post lots of non-wedding events, so I decided not to leave this post as draft so people can find me if they search for Bar Mitzvahs. When I have the time, I will also make a post about some birthday parties and other special events I shot this year. So yeah, Yuki Noda Photography also shoots Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthday parties, baptisms, etc. :)

And although I wanted to post some of the weddings from the images I’ve been posting on my Facebook Fan Page, I REALLY can’t seem to find the time (posting weddings in here is a ton of work!). :(

This morning I got to work with baby Otávio – he just turned 1 and as soon as I got home I was trying to find blog posts with Margaret’s maternity pictures and his newborn images as well. To my surprise, I forgot to post them last year. So I decided to make this post with a few images from both photo shoots. One of my favorites maternity picture is actually the one on the bottom, where Caroline (baby Otávio’s older sister) is holding Margaret’s belly. She’s a sweetheart. :)

The last image is from today’s shoot. He has become the cutest baby boy!! Yeap, I felt like Elmyra Duff this morning.

Weather’s not helping at all – I had to cancel/reschedule a few family photo shoots because it’s just been raining every single weekend. With all the wind from yesterday, trees are almost all bare so I’m guessing there will be no more family shoots with that great Fall look we all love. Luckily, I was able to shoot this amazing family and since this was my favorite Fall session of the year, I decided to stop my wedding editing to make this post.

Meet Fatima (mom), Daniel (dad), Jacob and Sophia. They know me from a couple of weddings I shot last/this year. It was great spending the morning with them – Jacob running all over the place (talk about energy!) and Sophia just being the CUTEST baby ever – she was ALL smiles and didn’t cry for a single minute. I also have to thank Daniel’s mom for helping us out – she kept an eye on the kids while we shot a few pictures of just Fatima and Daniel. :)

Let me share my favorite ones with you!
