Five years (yes, FIVE!!) ago I worked with Julia and Dan on their wedding and engagement session. You can actually view those here and here.

They are one of those couples that have lots of chemistry - you don't even need to direct them, they just know what to do! Still to this day, even though my style has changed quite a bit (no more vintage filters for me!), their wedding remains one of my favorites. I lost count of how many clients I got just because of their photos on my portfolio!

I was over the moon when Julia contacted me to book a maternity shoot and it was truly an honour to capture another milestone in their lives. I'm in love with these images, especially the lake part - I could look at those FOREVER!

Let me share some of my favorites with you. :)

This past weekend was a very busy one. Got home Saturday past midnight after a whole day shooting a wedding and was up very early in the morning for a family shoot on Sunday. During the afternoon I shot a birthday party so I was pretty much away from home the whole weekend!

I won't lie: I was exhausted on Monday - especially when you have to get up super early to take your kid to school. HOWEVER I could not wait any longer to edit this photo session you see right here. I am completely in love with every single picture I took that Sunday morning. Even though most photos on my portfolio look "candid", I do direct a bit and tell clients what to do since most people are really nervous during the shoot. This wasn't the case that Sunday morning - everything you see here is 100% not staged. I LOVE THAT! We just let this super cute little girl do whatever she wanted during that cold morning at the Distillery.

Below are some of my favorites. :)

This shoot is from yesterday - yes! Yesterday. I haven't even finished editing all of Anna's and Ashwin's engagement session, but since they are getting married this weekend, I edited a few of the photos so they have time to use them.

I'll keep this short since this will be a busy busy week for me - besides working on their engagement photos, just this weekend I have their wedding, a family photo session and a birthday party to shoot. Think I will rest on Monday? I've got another shoot and a meeting. Yeap, the year has definitely started. Everytime I get to a photo shoot I can't help but think how lucky I am do this for a living. :)

It was STILL freezing yesterday, but Anna and Ashwin were brave enough to handle the cold temperatures. I'm honestly in love with these so I decided to take a break from the editing to post a few of my favorites!

[update 03/29] p.s.: go check it out their wedding photo taken yesterday: http://www.facebook.com/YukiNodaPhotography. :)

There are lots of family photo shoots from last year that I have yet to post and hopefully I'll be able to get them all here till the next year! :)

This photo shoot was given as a gift to Jack & Gail for their 60th birthday (and wedding anniversary as well!). Their are proud grandparents of four super cute litle girls and one baby boy! I remember that on that day, I had 4 (yes, FOUR!!) other family photo shoots and theirs was the last one. And I couldn't have asked for a better family to finish my work day.

Gosh, they were amazing!! Even though it was freezing cold, everybody was so happy to be there. It's been 5 months now that these pictures were taken and they still make me smile every time I browse through them. Let me share some of my favorites with you!

This was my second photo shoot of 2015 - even though I have lots of photoshoots from last year I have yet to post, I needed to publish this right away because of the response I got from these few photos I posted on my FB page.

I finished editing their images really late at night sometime last January and e-mail Adrienne saying her photos are ready. I decide to post a few on my FB page before going to bed. 7am the next day, my daughter wakes up, I give her breakfast and decide to check my computer. I had so many private messages from my friends saying they loved the photos I just posted and how good-looking the couple were (honestly, that never happens - my friends are really used to me spamming them with my work, so I was surprised lol). Then, I check the photo on FB and it already has over 20 likes - and it's 7am in the morning!

So yeah, I HAD to post this right away. These are some of my favorites from the day! :)

This post goes to show that you really don't need a photographer for the entire day to capture all the great moments you want to remember from your wedding day. This beautiful beautiful wedding was captured in only 6 hours! Well, it also helps if you're getting ready super close to your venue and don't want thousands of portraits before & after ceremony.

When I met Tara I felt she was very practical. She and Ryan didn't want an e-session and didn't want to spend their entire wedding day posing for photos. So we did just a few of getting ready, went straight to ceremony, spend about an hour outside and went back inside to enjoy the reception. Can't forget to mention they were super brave about having their portraits done during a freezing and windy windy windy night at the Distillery District.

Tara's and Ryan's wedding was definitely one of my favorites to shoot this past year: their wedding was really intimate - they had about 50 guests if I remember correctly. What I love about small weddings is that you can tell that everybody that is there really matters to them and they are all so into the moment. And that's what photographers love - capturing those special non-manufactured moments throughout the night.

Congrats, Tara and Ryan! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness. ♥

This is Amy's and Matt's gorgeous wedding from last September. If you come here often, you might remember them from the Cheltenham Badlands e-shoot (click here - it's totally worth it!). They were really lucky to get a sunny day among all these rainy weekends.

I was super excited to finally go to Parkwood Estate - an amazing venue super close to home (YAY!) and I was dying to share these photos with you! So be prepared, this is a very long post (due to a very long day), but there was no way I could cut out any of these photos I'm sharing with you.

Congrats, Amy and Matt! Love and best wishes, always. ♥

I could have not asked for a better couple to close my 2014 wedding season. I absolutely loved working with Lina & Eric and all their wedding party!

They got married this past November at the Westin Prince in Toronto, followed by the traditional 10-course chinese dinner reception (yummy!). Lina was a bit worried about being too cold and dark during her portraits session, but we got some amazing photos during that night. (as you can see above!)

Even though I had tons of fun during Door Games, the most creative one I have ever shot, I won't be posting any of the photos here (Eric and the guys will thank me for that! LOL).

Congratulations, Lina and Eric, hope you guys have a wonderful life together! ♥

First photo shoot of 2015 and wow, what a great way to start this new year. I absolutely loved working with Vanessa and Ken - it was freezing and super windy! Honestly, I don't know how these two were able to handle so much cold. Good thing we got a bit of sunshine for about 5 minutes to warm us for a bit. lol.

I STILL have a couple of weddings and family shoots from 2014 I want to post over here so hopefully I will be able to post those during winter.

Let me share some of my favorites from this shoot. HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! :)

This wedding was absolutely beautiful! I was a bit worried the whole week before because forecast was for a lot of rain - however, for our luck, all the rain decided to fall the night before. :)

I loved pretty much everything from this wedding - Steph's super modern dress (it had pockets!!), her bridesmaids' cocktail dresses, her GORGEOUS GORGEOUS bouquet (if only I could go back in time and have THAT bouquet on my wedding day), Joe's super excited groomsmen, a lovely and tearful ceremony (under a sky that couldn't decide between cloudy and sunny), amazing sunshine during the portraits and a super fun reception.

The drive to Blue Mountain was totally worth it - congrats, Steph and Joe! Wishing you love and happiness, always. ♥
