I wish I had time to post all the weddings and family shoots I've been shooting, but it's been incredibly hard to keep this blog updated. It's already December and it feels like Summer to me. I have never had a Winter this busy! That being said, I'm not complaining! :)

I had to stop my editing for a bit to post photos from this Maternity photo shoot I had done with this gorgeous and sweet mom-to-be!

Jackie and Mike, congrats on your baby! You two are going to make amazing parents!

How I love working close to home! Not only because I don't have to be stuck in traffic, but also because I just love Whitby. This place is so beautiful I don't think I'll ever get tired of having shoots here.

This is Laura's and Ray's engagement session. Besides the fact these two are super photogenic, they have an amazing chemistry that definitely shows in pictures. So it's pretty obvious that I just can't wait for their wedding day next Summer!

On top of having lots of September+October wedding photos to edit, these past few days have been super busy with all these families having Fall shoots (can't blame them, Fall looks good), so I'll go back to editing now. I just had to stop for a bit to share this gorgeous e-shoot. :)

Back in the Summer of 2011 I shot Wenwen's and Shawn's wedding anniversary photos. Then, in the Fall of that same year, Wenwen hired me again to have a shoot with her mom that was coming all the way from China.

I remember just loving working with Wenwen and her family, so I was super excited when she emailed me this year to book a photo shoot with her baby. And what a cute baby! Loved loved meeting and working with baby Christopher.

We started at their place and went for a walk in Unionville. That park is absolutely beautiful! Her mom was also there so we had the chance to snap a few romantic photos for Shawn and Wenwen as well. :)

Let me share some of my favorites with you.

I can't lie - Erika and Chris Engagement Session was my favorite one from this past summer. She had this gorgeous dress, we got amazing light, they weren't shy at all and everything was pretty much perfect (click here to view it!). I had the hardest time blogging on top of their post and kept their photos on the very top of my website for the longest time. But finally, I have their wedding to share!

Let's face it - nobody wants rain on their wedding day, especially if you're planning on getting married outdoors. Forecast was giving us a partly cloudy day, but rain and wind decided to show up once the ceremony was about to begin. Ceremony was held indoors and it was beautiful - happiness was written all over Erika and Chris' faces once they saw each other.

Rain decided to give us a break for about an hour and we were able to go outside for pictures. We even had the chance of going to the actual location where the ceremony was supposed to be held and got my brand new Facebook cover picture. :)

Reception was filled with kisses - I had never seen a bride and groom kiss so much. Usually I don't post that much from reception, but I couldn't help with this one.

Congrats, Erika and Chris! Much love, health and happiness to you both. ♥

I remember when Aileen first called me wanting to book an engagement session. She didn't have a date for her wedding yet. I remember meeting her and Brandon at a Starbucks and at that time I had no idea that I would love working with them so much.

We had the E-Session and I can recall talking to my husband while I was editing their images. "I really really REALLY want to shoot their wedding. Look at those photos, they are perfect!! Hope I'm not booked when she picks her wedding date!", and it wasn't because they were good looking, but it was because they had so much chemistry in front of the camera.

Some months passed and Aileen e-mailed me to book her wedding day. I was literally jumping up and down.

This happened 2 and a half years ago. Since then, I lost count on how many people contacted me because of them. I also have to thank their relatives (especially Brandon's mom!) for talking about my work! Really can't thank them enough.

This current photo session was supposed to happen last Fall, to celebrate Aileen and Brandon's 1st wedding anniversary. Weather wasn't that great last year - we never really got a decent Fall and we ended up postponing the shoot to Spring. So in the end, we're really celebrating two years of marriage. :)

We decided to stay around Whitby - starting at Cullen Central Park, then going for some quick photos "downtown" Whitby and ending the shoot by the lake. Light was just perfect! Love love these. Amazing how two years have passed and they are still so good at PDA. Wish I could take pictures of them every single year!

This was my shortest wedding of the year - everything you see here was captured in 4 hours only! Even though we don't have getting ready shots nor a wedding party I had to post this because I adored the classic feel their day had.

They got married at Sassafraz, a really great venue for intimate weddings like theirs. Going around Yorkville was a bit tough because it was the windiest day ever, but we still manage to get amazing shots out of it.

Congrats, Kristen and Marc! Wishing you a life filled with love and happiness! ♥

This winter has been as busy as summer! I still have lots of family shoots and weddings I want to post (not really sure if I'll be able to post them this year still), but it's been too long without posting a Bar Mitzvah.

This is Matthew's Bar Mitzvah - I shot his sister's Bat Mitzvah over three years ago (if you click on Previous Page long enough, you might be able to find it!) so I was really happy when his mom contacted me again. Let me share some of my favorites with you!

And remember, to check my latest work, just head over my Facebook Page, which is always updated!

If I had to describe Fiona's + Bendy's big day in one word, it would be emotional: from the very beginning of the day with the Chinese door games till the end of the night with the reception.

Their MCs for the night were superb - it was a fun filled reception with tons of games and you could clearly see how the guests were enjoying themselves. All speeches were in Chinese, but you didn't really need to speak the language to tear up.

Let me share some of my favorites from this super sunny day at this GORGEOUS GORGEOUS venue. Congrats, Fiona and Bendy! You two are perfect together! Wishing you love and happiness, always! ❤

OMG - what a beautiful, gorgeous, sunny day we got for this photo shoot. I really can't stop looking at these photos - they just make me smile. Such a happy family!

This shoot was to celebrate Cassidy's birthday. Highlight was definitely her big sister, Kaelin, pulling her in the wagon around Edward Gardens. Had so much fun with these two little ladies!!

Let me share some of my favorites with you. :)

If I were to rank my favorite engagement shoots from this year so far, this couple would easily be on my top 3 list. I absolutely loved Melanie and Jeff engagement session at High Park (click here to view it!) and could not wait for their wedding at the cool and brand new Airship 37.

Their wedding photos started right at the Distillery District - no first looks nor getting ready photos. Melanie didn't feel like she needed it and, although I do love taking pictures of those moments, I'm not sure if I would want it either if it was my wedding day (I got married a long, long, long time ago when people didn't even think of having getting ready photos - hey, I'm not that old, it just happens that I got married at 19).

Decoration at the ceremony was simple and beautiful - super kawaii origami and the blue palette was stunning! It went so well with Melanie's eyes. I liked it so much because you could truly see how it all came together perfectly. At the reception, instead of games, I had the privilege to watch some amazing Odori dance and drumming performances. Guests were completely blown away by those.

Congrats, Melanie and Jeff! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness. ♥
