Happy new year everyone! I know it’s been a while since I haven’t posted in this blog, but last year was so busy I haven’t found time to come here (I do keep my Facebook page way more updated so make sure you visit over there for new photos!). I have yet to post a few weddings from last year. It’s usually during winter that I find time to organize all my folders, backup photos etc and I came across this photoshoot. It’s absolutely one of my favourite photoshoots from last year so I decided to start the year here with this one! Read the rest of this entry »

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last post – Family photo shoots are being cancelled/postponed and Summer weddings are being pushed to Fall due to this tough times we are going through, I hope everyone is staying safe during this quarantine. I decided to stop by and post some photo sessions from last year! What a beautiful day we had last October at the Bluffs! Read the rest of this entry »

Not so long ago I posted a photo shoot at this same place, however I could not skip posting this e-session because I simply adore this location (and also because this couple is super cute!!). I love Scarborough Bluffs so much that it’s been even the location for my own family photo shoot a couple of years ago.

This was Leigh’s and Simon’s engagament session. We had to reschedule this shoot a couple of times but it was definitely worth it. Look at the glorious light we got on that day! Perfect, perfect lighting. I had a great time working with them and I just can’t wait for their wedding next month.

Let me share some of favorites with you. :)

May and June have been incredibly busy. Just last week I had Kristine and Télcio’s photoshoot (exactly a week ago!), a Bat Mitzvah service the next day, a wedding on Saturday and a Bat Mitzvah party on Sunday! The other days? Using to edit all the photo shoots and weddings from two, three weeks before. My friends tell me they wish they could “only work on weekends”, but I’m pretty sure I work more than most of them. ;)

Weather hasn’t been that great so we’re also having lots of rescheduling, but I was so glad I was able to work with Kristine and Télcio last Wednesday. I’m completely in love with this photo session – I could literally post all photos from this shoot.

Kristine and Télcio are from Brazil and were actually in their honeymoon when these photos were taken. A friend of theirs had shot a maternity photo shoot with me and told them about my work. They only had one week left here in Canada, I didn’t have that many days available, it was raining almost every single day, but thankfully weather decided to cooperate on one of the few days we were both available.

The sunshine last Wednesday was just gorgeous!! Kristine decided to wear the wedding dress that belonged to her mom and honestly, that made the photos even more special! Let me share some of my favorites with you. :)

Kristine and Télcio, congrats on your wedding and thanks so much for letting me capture such a special moment in your lives. ♥

I used to write drafts about the weddings I wanted to post on my blog right after I finished editing all the images, but unfortunately that’s not true anymore. Working every weekend and having thousands of images to look through (and a two year old running around the house) doesn’t leave me time to do that anymore. I always limit the number of weddings I shoot per year, but maybe it’s time I limit my family photo sessions as well. =/

And the problem with taking so long to post about a past wedding is that I don’t remember much to write about. Lisa and Edward’s was definitely one of my favorites to shoot. It was really intimate and beautiful. They didn’t care about throwing a huge party/reception aftwards, which is rare nowadays. They just wanted to gather all the loved ones to celebrate this important day at church.

After the ceremony, we had a delicious lunch and drove to the Bluffer’s park for some portraits. It was pretty windy and cold, but they came out gorgeous!! We had a bit of sunshine for about 2 min and with that tiny amount of time I got my favorite wedding image from last year. You’ll see when you scroll down (it’s also on my portfolio). Love that place.

Congrats, Lisa and Edward! Wishing you all the best in your life. :)

What can I say about this e-session? I absolutely loved it! If I could, I’d post all pictures here, REALLY!… The location they chose was amazing – I was so happy to go somewhere else other than the Distillery District!!

Michael and Ashley are such a cute couple, I had an awesome time with them – the evening went by so fast I wish I had more time to take their engagement photos! Now I can’t wait for their wedding.

That “A ♥ M” on the rock over there was not made by us!! It was already there, I SWEAR!
