This is Amanda’s and Ashley’s e-session at the beautiful Rattlesnake Point conservation area. This was my first time there and I honestly loved the place! This engagement photo shoot is brand new and since it’s not always I get to go to new places, I had to post this right away.
I actually met Ashley and Amanda last year when Ashley was the MC for Adrienne’s and Eduardo’s wedding. I was so happy when they contacted me to capture their big day as well!
Can’t wait for their big day this Summer – I’m pretty sure it will be amazing!! ♥
Can’t hardly wait for Peter-Gaye and Jamar’s wedding next Spring. I had such a great time shooting these two at the Brick Works.
The weather was gorgeous, light was perfect. They decided to bring their son to their photo session and it was a pleasure meeting their little one! He did such a great job posing and also waiting while mommy and daddy were taking pictures. :)
I have many, many favorite locations to shoot at, however Whitby is the one I love the most. Not because I live 5 minutes away from all these locations (lol), but because I just find the light here gorgeous. It doesn’t matter the season – winter, spring, fall, summer… cloudy or sunny day… I always get amazing light here.
This is Karen and Yuuki’s engagement session – they brought their son to the photo session and it was a pleasure working with this little one! Adored their photos and I needed to share them with you!
I cannot explain how much I loved working with Kasey and Peter! I loved every single photo from this photo shoot and it was very hard to choose which ones to post and even if I would post in color or black & white.
Kasey was thinking of having her engagement session at High Park, with the cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, if you haven’t heard the news yet, cherry blossoms trees will not bloom this year! I had other couples aiming for High Park as well, however we will be going to different locations – what I say is it honestly doesn’t really matter the location as long as the couple has chemistry!
I was suggesting Kasey to maybe go to popular locations like Brickworks and to my surprise, she asked about Guildwood Park. I love that park, but for some reason not a lot people will ask for it. The art and architecture over there is gorgeous. What a great choice! I’m absolutely in love with these. Really can’t wait for their wedding this August!
This past month has been busier than usual – I still have lots of sessions & weddings to post on this blog from 2015, however I really needed to share these right away since it’s not everyday I get couples wanting to have their engagement session during winter!
I worked with this super cute couple this past January at the Evergreen Brick Works. I absolutely adored working with these two and I honestly can’t wait to shoot their wedding this Spring!
Thanks for braving the weather, Jenny & Francisco. It was totally worth it. :)
This is my last blog post of the year. At the moment there’s at least 40 shoots (including weddings and lifestyle photo sessions) that I still want to blog here and I have so many favorites it was hard to pick one to close 2015.
I honestly can’t post weddings at the moment because it takes me forever to go through photos, re-size them and organize them here, so I chose this gorgeous engagement session I did this past October.
These two are getting married next Fall and I just can’t wait to shoot their wedding day. Besides the fact they are very good looking and super cute together, they also have so much chemistry in front of the camera I could stay forever taking pictures of them.
Not so long ago I posted a photo shoot at this same place, however I could not skip posting this e-session because I simply adore this location (and also because this couple is super cute!!). I love Scarborough Bluffs so much that it’s been even the location for my own family photo shoot a couple of years ago.
This was Leigh’s and Simon’s engagament session. We had to reschedule this shoot a couple of times but it was definitely worth it. Look at the glorious light we got on that day! Perfect, perfect lighting. I had a great time working with them and I just can’t wait for their wedding next month.
I already know I will have a great time at Christine’s and Paul’s wedding next year. It was really fun shooting these two and that’s how engagement sessions should be! Sometimes couples take themselves too seriously, but the secret to a great e-shoot is laughter – so thank you, Paul. :)
Paul is also responsible for me finally ordering USB Flash Drives for wedding clients. LOL I’ve been studying getting those during the past year and I’d always forget about it. But during our meeting, Paul made fun of me still giving DVDs to people and I thought that maybe it was time to upgrade my media. Hopefully by next year all photo shoots will be getting USB Flash Drives instead of DVDs – honestly I think my DVDs are super cute, but I know that their end is near.
I really really shouldn’t be using my time to blog since I have so many photos shoots lined up to be edited, but I needed to post this (I promise my next blog post will be a family photo shoot, I promise!!!). Let me share some of my favorites with you! :)
I really shouldn’t be stopping to post a photo shoot since I’m drowning in photos to edit right now. However I’m completely in love with this session and I had to post it right away!
I’m pretty sure these two don’t even know how photogenic they are and how great their chemistry is in front of the camera. Besides that, they are really fun to be around. Can’t wait for their wedding next month!
I’ll be honest: before this shoot, I hated High Park. I hate how crowded and huge that park is. Always thought it was an overrated park and whenever I could, I convinced families/couples to go to Edward Gardens or somewhere smaller. I was just excited with Melanie+Jeff’s suggestion because initially we were thinking about having the shoot during the blooming of the cherry trees (which we missed it, unfortunately). Anyways… going there on a weekday is a completely different story. It is indeed a beautiful park to go to.
Let me share some of my favorite photos with you! :)
Fiona and Bendy are getting married this September at The Estates of Sunnybrook and this is their E-Session, which was shot at the beautiful Edward Gardens.
This was my second time shooting an Engagement Session over there this year, which is kind of surprising because even though I go there plenty of times for Family shoots, I’ve never had couples asking for that park in particular. Maybe urban E-Shoots are finally old news?
Had an amazing time with Fiona and Bendy – these two are really sweet! Congrats guys, really looking forward for your big day this September. :)
p.s.: You can view the other Edward Gardens’ shoot clicking here. Love the fact that these were shot a couple of weeks apart and one couple got a cloudy day (which they actually liked because Fiona prefers the cold weather) and the other got a sunny day (which was Hanaa’s preference as well!).
