This is Amy’s and Matt’s gorgeous wedding from last September. If you come here often, you might remember them from the Cheltenham Badlands e-shoot (click here – it’s totally worth it!). They were really lucky to get a sunny day among all these rainy weekends.

I was super excited to finally go to Parkwood Estate – an amazing venue super close to home (YAY!) and I was dying to share these photos with you! So be prepared, this is a very long post (due to a very long day), but there was no way I could cut out any of these photos I’m sharing with you.

Congrats, Amy and Matt! Love and best wishes, always. ♥

Michelle and Colin are a really cute couple that I had the pleasure of shooting this year. Michelle was the nicest bride ever, so easy to work with! I’m pretty sure she has no idea of how beautiful she is and I just loved working with such a photogenic bride! They also were responsible for giving me one of my favorites E-Sessions of the year.

They got married at the Trafalgar Castle School, a really nice venue here in Whitby. And of course, I don’t get tired of saying how much I enjoy working close to home. :)

Congrats, Michelle and Colin! Wishing you all the happiness in the world. ♥

This is Nicole and Shawn’s big day from last October. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Centennial Building in Whitby – I loved the ceremony at the theater space – the decoration was truly unique. Interesting fact about them: they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony and they didn’t want any portraits between ceremony and reception. They just cared about candid images throughout the whole day. Of course I had to steal them for a couple of minutes just to get a few photos of just the two of them. Even though they said they couldn’t care less for formals, I still think it’s nice to have a few. If you’ve been to a lot of weddings, you know most of the times the bride doesn’t stay with the groom during the reception, they’re always walking around talking the hundreds of guests that want to congratulate them. So yeah, I love candid photos during the reception, however it’s good to stop for a couple of minutes before or after the ceremony to get a few portraits – I bet they don’t regret it.
Congrats, Nicole and Shawn! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! :)
